Love this airport! They are doing renovations, but it is still operational. Down the B terminal they built a restaurant and bar in the middle with beautiful artwork. I love all of the shops and restaurants. Smooth and seamless experience, even with construction

This is the airport I fly into when working in the Chicago area. It is a Southwest airlines hub so this definety keeps this airport hopping. The rental car center is conveniently located and easy to get to. Inside the airport, it is loaded with memorabilia and you will miss your flight if you try to take it all in. There is plenty of stores and restaurants located inside and dont go home without some popcorn from "Nuts on Clark"...if I travel here, my wife doesn't say anything, but I she really enjoys when i bring home that caramel corn. Not a whole lot of seating at the gates, but there are food and drink stations across the aisle. I really like this airport.

I've always felt at home at this airport. There is plenty of space to walk while waiting for flights, and I enjoy the historical exhibits. The food is diverse and I am looking forward to all the new businesses they are installing.

A lot of the reviewers have panned the employees at Midway for being rude, but I didn't experience that. The lady at the Hudson in Concourse A was very helpful, even letting me know that I could get a larger size of the item I was purchasing for the same price. We didn't patronize any of the restaurants during our brief layover, so I can't comment on that. The Battle of Midway exhibit was interesting and was a nice tribute to this important World War II battle. But why isn't this memorial listed on any of the terminal maps or directional signs? I knew that it was there beforehand and I wanted to see it, but I still had to go hunting for it. (It's at the entrance to Concourse A from the food court area.)

I've been to this airport too many times since this is the hub or stopover for the Southwest Airlines. Therefore either I came here to visit Chicago or walk to the far end of the airport to catch another flight. Each time I had only one hour in between flights. With bathroom time, buying food in line and walking to the other end to transfer to another plane, I barely made it right before boarding. One of those days, I discovered filtered water dispenser everywhere. It was a relief that I didn't have to wait in line to buy a $3 water bottle. When I went outside, I took the train to the Riverfront area. It took an hour. Next times, uber was called to save the time. Train ride was ok. I ride trains from the airport for the experience and it wasn't bad here although it was a long, confusing walk.
